The Public Works Department building was built in 2011. The building was designed to hold the necessary equipment and tools to better serve the Towns day to day operations. The Public Works Department provides the care and maintenance of all Town owned properties. They maintain lawns and recreation sports fields in the Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons. They help support a great atmosphere and tradition for the Baileys Harbor A’s. The Public Works Department supports the Baileys Harbor Community Association with setup and cleanup for all Town festivals. In the Springtime they assist the Harbormaster with the installation of docks at the Marina. The department takes great pride in providing year-round road safety for their residents. This tasks will include brushing, plowing, and road repairs. They also maintain our Green Site, providing a year round recycling, brush, and scrap metal drop-off site .
