Polling location
The Spring Election Polling Location is being held at the Baileys Harbor Town Hall, 2392 County Rd. F in the auditorium. Wisconsin municipalities have uniform polling hours beginning at 7:00 a.m until 8:00 p.m.
Photo ID is required: The easiest form of Photo ID is a Wisconsin Driver's License or Wisconsin State Issued ID card. There are a number of acceptable Photo IDs if you don't have a Wisconsin Driver's License. For a full list of acceptable forms of photo identification click here: Photo ID
Register to Vote
If you are a U.S. Citizen, over the age of 18 and have been a Town of Baileys Harbor resident for at least 28 consecutive days prior to the election, you are eligible to register. You must provide photo ID and proof of residence when you register. A full list of acceptable documents are available here: Photo ID , Proof of Residence
Ways to Register
- Go to MyVote and click "Register to Vote" to complete the registration process.
- Complete a WI Voter Registration Application and mail it to the Town Office with a copy of your Photo ID and proof of residence document.
- Visit the Town Office and bring your Photo ID and proof of residence document.
- Register on Election Day with your Photo ID and proof of residence document.
Request an Absentee Ballot
The deadline to request an absentee ballot via mail is 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday immediately before an election. There are several ways to request and vote absentee
- Go to MyVote and click "Vote Absentee by Mail".
- Complete a WI Application for Absentee Ballot and mail it to the Town Office with a copy of your Photo ID.
- Email your request to [email protected] and provide the following information:
- Your full legal name - as stated on your Drivers License
- Your physical Baileys Harbor address
- Date of the election(s) for which you would like to receive a ballot
- The address where the ballot should be mailed (absentee ballots cannot be forwarded)
- Copy of your Photo ID
Returning Your Absentee Ballot
Absentee ballots must be returned by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. You may ONLY return YOUR ballot to an authorized Election Inspector or or Town Representative. Absentee ballots may be returned in one of the following ways:
- Mail it to the Town Office.
- Bring your ballot to the Town Office during regular business hours.
- Bring your ballot to the polling place on Election Day.
Early In-Person Absentee Voting
You may vote absentee in-person at the Town Office beginning the second Tuesday prior to election day and ending on the Friday before election day. Be prepared to show your Photo ID.

The Town of Baileys Harbor does not get involved in any matters relating to the lakebed as it is outside of our jurisdiction . The DNR is working to find a solution for the removal of the tugboat and will be involving community partners as they move along in the process.

Town of Baileys Harbor Geothermal
Request for Bid 8-15-2025
The Town of Baileys Harbor is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the construction of a vertical-bore, closed loop geothermal system connected to distributed zone heat pumps and an energy recovery ventilation unit for an existing two-story building, approximately 12,000 square foot in area located in Baileys Harbor, WI. Associated architectural, mechanical and electrical selective demolition and construction is included within the building as indicated in the Construction documents. This is a single Prime Contract: Construction Contract Bids will be received for Work for work preformed under a Single Contract, including General Construction, Mechanical Work, and Electrical work.
