
CONSTRUCTION INFORMATION MEETING FOR WIS 57 RESURFACING PROJECT

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) invites you to a construction information meeting for upcoming construction on WIS 57 from Summit Road to County Q in Baileys Harbor. The meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 24, 2025 at 1 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Baileys Harbor Town Hall located at 2392 County Road F in Baileys Harbor.
The purpose of this meeting is to give the contractor, Relyco Plus, LLC, and opportunity to present and discuss the proposed schedule of work, traffic staging and impacts, and vehicular access during construction operations.

SPRING ELECTION - APRIL 1, 2025
Request an Absentee Ballot: The deadline to request an absentee ballot via mail is 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday immediately before an election. There are several ways to request and vote absentee:
- Go to MyVote and click "Vote Absentee by Mail".
- Complete a WI Application for Absentee Ballot and mail it to the Town Office with a copy of your Photo ID.
- Email your request to [email protected] and provide the following information:
- Your full legal name - as stated on your Drivers License
- Your physical Baileys Harbor address
- Date of the election(s) for which you would like to receive a ballot
- The address where the ballot should be mailed (absentee ballots cannot be forwarded)
- Copy of your Photo ID
Early In-Person Absentee Voting: You may vote absentee in-person at the Town Office beginning the second Tuesday prior to election day and ending on the Friday before election day. Be prepared to show your Photo ID.

TUGBOAT IN THE HARBOR
The Town of Baileys Harbor does not get involved in any matters relating to the lakebed as it is outside of our jurisdiction . The DNR is working to find a solution for the removal of the tugboat and will be involving community partners as they move along in the process.
