Don Prust is the superintendent or plant manager. Don is a Door County native who lived his whole life in Baileys Harbor. He came to the treatment plant in 1997 as an operator and worked to earn his grade four certification. In 1999 the town discontinued having a contract operations company run the facility and took over on their own. Don became the plant manager at that time. “I’m happy to be able to work for the town I grew up in and have a role in keeping the environment clean for us and future generations”, says Don.
